Enrolment process

Step 1: Apply Through the Victorian International Student Program

All international, fee‑paying students must submit their application through the Victorian Government’s International Student Program at www.study.vic.gov.au. This is the first step in expressing interest in studying at a Victorian government school.

Step 2: Receive Your Application Assessment

The Department of Education will assess your application in line with CRICOS and ESOS requirements. If a place is available at your preferred school, your application will progress to the next stage.

Step 3: Receive a Letter of Offer

If your application is approved, you will receive a Letter of Offer from the Department of Education. To accept, families must complete the required documentation and pay the international student fees.

Step 4: Apply for Your Student Visa

Once you have accepted your place, use your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) to apply for the subclass 500 Student – Schools visa. Visa approval is required before you can commence your studies in Victoria.

Step 5: Prepare for Arrival and Homestay (if required)

Before arriving in Australia, international students must have approved welfare and accommodation arrangements. For students requiring homestay, the school will ensure all arrangements meet Victorian safety and compliance standards.

Step 6: Orientation and Welcome to Bundoora Secondary College

When your enrolment is finalised and your visa is granted, you will be welcomed into the BSC community. You’ll receive orientation information, meet key staff—including your PAL mentor—and be supported to settle into school life.
