CQEES 

CQEES is a Bundoora Secondary College initiative that equips students with the tools and experiences necessary to build their own professional portfolio, setting the foundation for successful careers, helping our students STAND OUT from the crowd.

CERTIFIED

The Certified component helps students monitor their academic progress across all subjects, including VCE results and ATAR outcomes. It focuses on ensuring students stay on track to meet or exceed their educational goals. By regularly reviewing their performance, students gain a clear understanding of how their results reflect their effort and prepare them for tertiary education or further training. Whether achieving strong marks in VCE subjects like Biology or Environmental Science, or excelling in project-based learning, academic achievement remains a cornerstone of future readiness.

QUALIFIED

The Qualified component highlights how students develop the skills and competencies needed for specific careers or study pathways. Through VET qualifications, industry certifications, and hands-on projects, students demonstrate practical expertise in real-world contexts. These credentials may include certifications in areas such as Conservation and Ecosystem Management, First Aid, or carpentry—validating their readiness for the workforce or further specialized study. As they progress, students build a portfolio of qualifications that showcases their capability to perform professional tasks with confidence.

EXPERIENCED

Hands-on learning is at the core of the CQEES program. Students gain real-world experience through internships, community service, and projects such as conservation work and farm-based learning. These practical opportunities allow students to apply their knowledge in authentic contexts, develop professional skills, and demonstrate their ability to succeed beyond the classroom.

ENTREPRENEURIAL

The entrepreneurial component inspires students to think creatively, solve problems, and develop leadership skills. Through initiatives such as the Fighting Extinction program and design challenges, students explore innovative ideas and gain practical insights into starting and managing projects or businesses.

SOCIETAL 

The societal component focuses on making a positive impact. Students explore issues such as sustainability, social justice, and community engagement, fostering a sense of responsibility and active citizenship. By tackling real-world challenges, they develop the skills and commitment needed to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the wider world.
