International Student Program

Bundoora Secondary College is a vibrant co-educational school for Years 7 to 12, nestled in the leafy, safe suburb of Bundoora just 22 km from Melbourne’s CBD. Our prime location offers easy access to public transport, major shopping precincts, libraries, sporting facilities, and two leading universities, providing students with exceptional opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Education at BSC is collaboration between students and their teachers. We co-construct learning experiences that build on students’ passions, interests, and strengths. Our curriculum is personalised and differentiated to stretch every learner and maximise individual growth each year, whilst all teachers strive to meet individual student needs.

BSC offers a vertical learning structure for Years 8 to 10, giving students the flexibility to choose subjects that reflect their interests and passions. Our strong partnerships with La Trobe University, RMIT, and Swinburne University of Technology provide opportunities to participate in early programs and university-level courses, creating personalised pathways for future success.

Through our REACH program, students experience a faster-paced curriculum, enabling them to begin VCE subjects earlier and access early university programs through our close links with La Trobe and RMIT. This enriched environment challenges students with deeper learning, fosters collaboration with like-minded peers, and supports their academic potential, preparing them for university and beyond.

At Bundoora Secondary College, we pride ourselves on the strength of our VCE STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs including Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematical Methods. These core subjects provide students with a strong academic foundation while building the problem-solving and analytical skills needed for future success.

To help our students STAND OUT, we also offer innovative programs such as Entrepreneurship, our most popular extension program. By combining the knowledge gained in STEM with the creativity and mindset of an entrepreneur, students learn how to think critically, design solutions, and excel in a competitive world.​

Applications & Process

Bundoora Secondary College offers Years 7 to 12 for the International Education Division (IED). Applications are managed centrally through the International Education Division of the Victorian Department of Education.
