By implementing and maintaining clear communication practices, we are encouraging active family engagement, which equips us to effectively support and encourage your student’s learning and wellbeing.
Compass is an online information and communication platform designed to keep families informed and engaged in their student’s education. It provides a single, secure place for you to access important updates, manage school-related tasks, and monitor your student’s progress.
It is essential that you access Compass regularly to ensure that you stay up to date on important information regarding your student and the school.
With Compass, you can:
Monitor your student’s attendance, and enter approval for absence or lateness
Communicate with your students’ teachers, and update any relevant contact details
View chronicle entries about your student's engagement and wellbeing
View your student’s timetable and the school calendar
Monitor your student’s coursework and assessment tasks, including due dates and results
Download and view your student’s progress and semester reports
Book family-teacher conferences
Pay school fees
View news and information posts from staff relevant to your student
Provide permission for events/excursions. (Please note, if consent is not received by the due date, students will not be able to attend the respective activity)
Reports and feedback
Your child will receive:
Four reports per year: two interim (terms 1 and 3) and two end-of-semester reports
Fortnightly coursework feedback and regular progress updates aligned with our college values: RIGOUR, RESPONSIBILITY, RESPECT, RESILIENCE, and RELATIONSHIPS.
These tools help families stay informed. We encourage you to regularly discuss the results with your student and support them to achieve their personal best.

Every family receives a unique login—please do not share your details with your student. They have their own log in!
When you first log in to Compass, you will be required to change the password we provide you with, as well as confirm your email address and phone number. These details are used for SMS notifications, password recovery and email communication throughout the year.
If your details change at any time, please email us with an update as soon as possible at bundoora.sc@education.vic.gov.au
