Getting Involved
Join us to actively participate in ways to enhance the quality of education of our students through both social and academic means.
We are always trying to find ways to further support families to make them feel welcome here at Bundoora Secondary College. Please join us to help make Bundoora Secondary College the best place it can be for our students – both academically and socially.
Ways to be involved

CANTEEN
Join a team of valued volunteers providing healthy lunches for our hungry students. Our Canteen Manager welcomes all parents/carers who can spare a couple of hours once a term.

FRIENDS OF THE FARM
The school relies on parent involvement to help support our outstanding Farm and Environment Program. The group provides a valuable opportunity for parents to meet, while at the same time, supporting this dynamic program through fundraising and assisting with a variety of other activities throughout the year.

WORKING BEES
Working bees run throughout the year, generally on Sundays from 9.00am - 12.30pm. Morning tea and bbq lunches are provided. Dates will be communicated via Compass as events are organised.

SCHOOL COUNCIL
The School Council meets monthly; sub committees also meet monthly. This decision-making body of parents, teachers and students requires commitment and an interest in the welfare and policies of a range of areas. School council sets the school's direction and oversees its finances. The opportunity to join School Council and subcommittees occurs at the start of the year via Compass communication.

The Parents & Friends group would like to welcome any parent interested to join us in supporting the education of our children. Parents & Friends group members are not passive observers, but active contributors in the daily operations of the Bundoora Secondary College, helping to support a wide range of activities and initiatives. Parents & Friends group members work hand-in-hand with the School Council, the Principal and teachers, and benefit enormously from interaction with other parents.
Our meetings are usually on the first Monday of the month during term at 6.30pm in the staff meeting room and all are welcome! Indeed, just come along one evening and sit-in as an observer.
We are always looking to add to our numbers and if you are available and willing to participate (even if only in a small way), please contact the College on 9467 1511, leave your name, contact number and availability, or contact pandf@bundoorasc.vic.edu.au

We warmly welcome you to join our wonderful community and make a difference!
