At Bundoora Secondary College, we believe learning an instrument and playing music should be enjoyable, in addition to developing concentration, self motivation and discipline, assisting academic achievement and building strong social connections.

Bundoora Secondary College has some fantastic music opportunities on offer to our students. Throughout students learning journey, they can take part in various performances such as evening concerts and participate in Specialist and Deep Learning music electives. Students can also take part in the production band, music camp and can also take advantage of our fully equipped recording studio, two large band rooms and practical music classroom settings.
Small group music lessons are available at Bundoora Secondary College. Students sign up for 30-minute lessons which are timetabled throughout classes during the day. Our students are placed within a rotating timetable, so they do not miss out on the same class every week. Tuition is conducted in small groups with a qualified, instrumental specialist on Bass, Clarinet, Drums / Percussion, Flute, Guitar, Keyboard, Music Tech, Saxophone, Trombone, Trumpet, and Vocals.
