Pathways at BundooraSecondary College

At Bundoora Secondary College, our curriculum has a blend of academic and vocational options. We not only challenge our students but we encourage and reward persistence and good work ethic. Our students are empowered in their learning by choosing their subjects based on interest and curiosity.

Find your passion

We believe that education should be a journey of discovery, not just a checklist of subjects. That's why we've revolutionized the traditional approach to learning by offering a flexible curriculum that empowers students to follow their passions and shape their own educational experience.

Gone are the days of rigid curriculum boundaries. Here, students have the freedom to explore interdisciplinary connections and pursue subjects that truly resonate with their interests. Whether it's delving into the sciences, diving deep into the arts, or venturing into the world of entrepreneurship, the possibilities are endless.

Our dedicated faculty members are not just teachers, but mentors and guides who inspire and support students every step of the way. Through personalized guidance and mentorship, students are encouraged to chart their own course, discovering their strengths and unlocking their full potential.

It's not about fitting into a mold; it's about carving out your own path. Join us on a journey of self-discovery and academic exploration, where the only limit is your imagination.

Pathways

1

ENTRY

We support our students throughout the entire transition school.

The learning program is designed to build upon the style of learning experience in primary school AND prepare them for the style of learning in some of the PACE classes- that is, INQUIRY, INTERDISCIPLINARY, INTEGRATED with real world scenarios.

2

PACE 21

Students map out their pathway through school with dedicated PAL (Pathways & Learning) leaders, who act as guides, facilitators and mentors. Students choose from a fantastic array of subjects designed to engage and challenge students, developing essential knowledge and skills for the senior years of schooling

3

VCE - VCE VM

The VCE program is the complete list of VCE units you complete over the usual two years – or longer if you choose. Typically this list will consist of 20-24 units. That translates as five or six subjects, each of four units.

The VCE Vocational Major (VM) is a vocational and applied learning program within the VCE.
