The group actively seeks practical ways to enhance the quality of education of our students through both social and academic means
The Parents and Friends (P&F) of Bundoora Secondary College are a group of committed volunteer parent and teacher representatives that meet usually on the first Tuesday evening of the month at 6:30 pm.
The group actively seeks practical ways to enhance the quality of education of our students through both social and academic means. Discussion points and activities have included:
Cyber bullying & other Internet site issues,
Donation of $10,000 to music department for instruments,
Acquisition of Government Grant providing Welfare Group via the Breakfast Club equipment to provide breakfast and support for families.
Fundraising activities throughout the school year e.g. yearly Bunnings BBQ

Annual fundraising through the Presentation Ball and Formal raising a significant amount which has been put back into the school community.

We are always trying to find ways to further support families to make them feel welcome here at Bundoora Secondary College. Please join us to help make Bundoora Secondary College the best place it can be for our students – both academically and socially.
The Parents & Friends group would like to welcome any parent interested to join us in supporting the education of our children. Parents & Friends group members are not passive observers, but active contributors in the daily operations of the Bundoora Secondary College, helping to support a wide range of activities and initiatives. Not only do Parents & Friends group members work hand-in-hand with the School Council, the Principal and Teachers, moreover we benefit enormously from interaction with other parents, who share a common interest in supporting the education and personal growth of young people throughout all grades in this school.
Our meetings are usually on the first Monday of the month during term at 6.30pm in the staff meeting room and all are welcome!
Indeed, just come along one evening and sit-in as an observer.
We are looking to add to our numbers and where we can help facilitate the needs of our students within the local school environment. If you are available and willing to participate (even if only in a small way), please contact the College on 9467 1511, leave your name, contact number and availability, or contact
