STUDENT PROGRAMS

Students at Bundoora Secondary College are encouraged to participate in any number of extra-curricular activities.

We cater for all interests with sporting programs, drama and music performances, instrumental music, excursions, International and local camps, art exhibitions and displays and debating or public speaking, just to name a few.

STUDENT VOICE

Students are encouraged to take an active role in College life and are ensured a forum to voice their ideas and opinions.

DEBATING AND PUBLIC SPEAKING

Our student speakers are supported while they are learning to speak articulately, passionately and persuasively.

annual drama production

A serious commitment for students, while they learn about creating a production - encouraging greater self-knowledge and confidence.

homework club

A school run homework club every Thursday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm in the Resource Centre.

indigenous program

“Wominjeka” – “Welcome” in the language of the Wurundjeri people, the traditional custodians of the land on which our college rests.

in2science

The In2Science peer mentoring program is based on forming links between universities and secondary schools across Victoria.

instrumental music

Learning an instrument develops concentration, assists academic achievement and builds strong social connections.

rock and water

A program that provides a pathway to self-awareness, increased self-confidence and social functioning.

peer support

The Peer Support Program supports positive cultural change within schools by incorporating a range of strategies.
