This subject focuses on students to develop practical coaching knowledge and skills for being a beginner coach. It is aimed at enhancing student’s self-confidence, communication,leadership, responsibility and good sporting behaviour. Students undertaking this course will acquire knowledge in the role of the coach, sport psychology, planning coaching lessons, skill teaching, group management, discipline and sports safety. The main objective in this course is for students to teach fundamental motor skills for junior primary and range of team sports for upper primary and lower secondary students.
